Translation is all too often reduced to the simple transposition of a word or phrase from one language to another.

However, this shortcut can prove to be harmful in many situations, especially in the era of AI!
While AI can be a helpful tool, humans remain the only guarantee of a text’s quality. Indeed, translation (and the production of any text, in general) involves various factors, such as the subject matter, the context, the target audience, the intended purpose, the chosen tone, and implied meanings… These are all subtleties that only a trained and experienced translator can understand and incorporate into his/her choice of words, phrases, and texts.

Viewing the translation of their content as merely a budget adjustment is a pitfall that many companies fall into today and that is practically a strategic mistake.
Imagine this: You've been working for years to project a high-quality brand image for your hotel, restaurant, or museum... Your customer base is growing and becoming more international. French customers are drawn to the beautiful photos on your website, click on the French flag to learn more, and then... they see text that is only partially understandable, disjointed, and written in an inappropriate or strange tone. What happens to your brand image? It vanishes in the blink of an eye—with just two clicks.

Still not convinced that hiring a professional translator is the right choice?

Let’s then incorporate the issues of creativity, confidentiality, and human judgment (ethics, culture, psychology, etc.) into all of these considerations.Your projects, your wishes, your needs, and your goals are far too important and deserve an approach that is commensurate with what is at stake.

As a certified translator (with honors), I create (or proofread) the French version of your content, drawing on the expertise I’ve developed over the course of my ten years of experience and throughout my professional career.
